NIKKI CROSS

Nicola Glencross is a 34-year-old professional wrestler from Glasgow, Scotland. She is currently signed with the WWE and performs on the RAW brand. Her ring name is Nikki Cross.

Glencross began training for her wrestling career in September 2008 at the Scottish Wrestling Alliance. She made her debut for the promotion using the ring name, Nikki Storm. From 2010 to 2015, Glencross wrestled for various promotions including Insane Championship Wrestling, Pro-Wrestling EVE, Stardom, Shimmer Women Athletes, Shine Wrestling and Women Superstars Uncensored.

She also wrestled for Global Force Wrestling (GFW), Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW), World Wide Wrestling League (W3L), Queens of Combat, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and World Xtreme Wrestling.

Nikki Cross’s WWE Tryout

In the fall of 2015, Glencross received a tryout for WWE in London and in 2016, she was one of the 10 prospective wrestlers signed to train at the company’s WWE Performance Center in Florida. She made her made her television debut in August in a six-woman tag team match along with Carmela and Liv Morgan defeating Daria Berenato, Mandy Rose, and Alexa Bliss.

Nikki Cross made her main roster on November 6, 2018 on an episode of SmackDown that was filmed in Manchester, England.

Nikki Cross Drafted to RAW

In January 2019, she was moved to the RAW roster making her debut in a tag team with Bayley and Natalya against the Riott Squad. Later that year, Cross teamed up with Alexa Bliss and together they won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships in August on an episode of RAW. Their reign as tag team champions lasted 62 days before losing the titles to the Kabuki Warriors at Hell in a Cell.

In the 2019 WWE draft, Nikki Cross remained on RAW but was later traded to SmackDown along with Alexa Bliss. Cross and Bliss defeated the Kabuki Warriors at WrestleMania 36 and won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships a second time. On June 5, 2020, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross lost the titles to Bayley and Sasha Banks.

Nikki Cross was drafted to Monday Night RAW at the 2020 WWE draft in October 2020.

Nikki Becomes The RAW Women’s Champion

At the Royal Rumble 2021 event, Nikki entered the match as competitor number 20 but was eliminated by Carmela. Following the Royal Rumble, Nikki went on a winning streak defeating Charlotte Flair and RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley.

On the June 21 episode of RAW, Nikki debuted a new super hero gimmick. Her new ring name would be Nikki A.S.H. (Almost a Superhero). She also began teaming up with Alexa Bliss. Together, they defeated Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler in a Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match qualifier.

At the Money in the Bank 2021 event, Nikki defeated Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Liv Morgan, Naomi, Natalya, Tamina, and Zelina Vega. This win earned her a contract for a women’s championship of her choice. The following night on RAW, she cashed in her MITB contract. She defeated Charlotte Flair to win the RAW Women’s Championship for the first time in her career.

At SummerSlam 2021, Nikki A.S.H. lost the RAW Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match with Rhea Ripley.

Nikki A.S.H. & Rhea Ripley Win Tag Team Gold

On the September 20 episode of RAW, Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley teamed up and defeated Tamina and Natalya to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. On the November 22 episode of RAW, Ripley and A.S.H were defeated by Carmella and Queen Zelina in a title match. Their reign ended at 63 days.

On the January 3rd episode of RAW, Nikki and Rhea Ripley failed to regain the titles from Carmella and Queen Zelina in a rematch. The following week on RAW, Nikki attacked Ripley turning heel. She participated in the Royal Rumble match at the namesake event and entered at #22, eliminating fellow superheroine Mighty Molly due to being jealous of her, before she was eliminated by eventual winner Ronda Rousey.

At Elimination Chamber, Nikki entered the Elimination Chamber match for a RAW Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 38. She was eliminated by Rhea Ripley. On the May 2nd episode of RAW, Nikki won the WWE 24/7 Championship from Dana Brooke. She lost it back to Brooke on the same episode.

Nikki A.S.H. then began to work with Doudrop as a tag team in May 2022. After the Women’s Tag Team Championship was vacated in May, A. S. H. and Doudrop entered a tournament to crown new champions. They lost in the first round to Alexa Bliss and Asuka. On the August 30th episode of NXT, Nikki and Doudrop made a surprise appearance. They challenged the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter for their titles at Worlds Collide. They lost the match. By doing so, A. S. H. became the first woman in WWE to challenge for all currently active women’s championships in WWE.

The Return of Nikki Cross

On the October 24, 2022 episode of RAW, Nikki Cross interfered in a match between Bayley and Bianca Belair. She attacked both women, and reverting to her “unhinged” gimmick and her “Nikki Cross” name.

Nikki joined Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY) in a brawl against Bianca Belair, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss on the November 7th episode of RAW. Later that night, it was announced that Nikki would team with Damage CTRL to take on Belair, Asuka, and Bliss in a WarGames match at Survivor Series WarGames on November 26, 2022.

Nikki then defeated Dana Brooke to win her 11th 24/7 Championship, but later threw it into a trash bin backstage. The title was then retired two days later.
