This rich family heritage has shaped her path in professional wrestling, inspiring her to carve her own legacy in WWE.
Signed by WWE in 2014, Jax began her journey in the company’s developmental territory, NXT. She debuted in May 2015 under the name Zada, but by August, she adopted the iconic Nia Jax moniker. Her television debut saw her triumph over Evie, setting the stage for a remarkable career.
Rise to WWE Stardom
After a successful NXT run, Nia Jax was drafted to the WWE main roster in July 2016. She quickly established herself as a powerhouse, engaging in high-profile feuds and participating in marquee events such as the Royal Rumble and Survivor Series.
Jax’s defining moment came at WrestleMania 34, where she defeated Alexa Bliss to capture the RAW Women’s Championship—her first major title in WWE. Though she lost the title back to Bliss at Money in the Bank, her star continued to rise.
