BRUTUS CREED

Drew Kasper is a 28-year-old professional wrestler from Lexington, Ohio. He is currently signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and performs on the company’s RAW brand. He is one half of the tag team, The Creed Brothers, alongside his brother Jacob Kasper (Julius Creed).

Kasper attended Otterbein University, where he majored in exercise science, and graduated in 2020. While studying at Otterbein University, Drew competed in collegiate wrestling for the Otterbein Cardinals. His overall record was 108-13. He was a two-time NCAA Division III All-American. In his final year of University, Drew had a perfect 30-0 record and was ranked number in the United States. But, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, he did not compete in the 2020 NCAA championships due to their cancellation.

Drew Kasper’s WWE Tryout & Contract

At the urging of his brother, Jacob, Drew attended a WWE try-out in February 2021. He was then signed to a three-year contract with the WWE. Both brothers were assigned to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida for training. Drew and Jacob Kasper were given the ring names, “Brutus Creed” and “Julius Creed,” in June 2021. The Creed Brothers appeared on WWE NXT in August 2021 as members of Roderick Strong’s Diamond Mine stable.

The Creed Brothers’ NXT Debut

Brutus and Julius Creed made their in-ring debut at the August 24, 2021 WWE NXT tapings (the match aired on September 7). At their debut, they defeated Chuckie Viola and Paxton Averill in a squash.

At NXT’s Vengeance Day on February 15 2022, the Creed Brothers defeated MSK to win the Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. On June 4th 2022, they defeated Pretty Deadly to win the NXT Tag Team Championship. But on September 4 2022, at Worlds Collide, the Creed Brothers lost the NXT Tag Team Championship to Pretty Deadly. Their title reign lasted 91 days.  In July 2023, the Creed Brothers lost to the Dyad in a “Loser Leaves NXT” match. They were reinstated the following month after defeating the Dyad in a cage match.

The Creed Brothers, along with fellow Diamond Mine member Ivy Nile, made their main roster debut on the October 30, 2023 episode of RAW. At their debut, they defeated Alpha Academy. At Halloween Havoc the following day, they defeated Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo in a “Tables, Ladders, and Scares match” in their final match for NXT.

Creed Brothers Join RAW

On the November 6, 2023 episode of RAW, the Creed Brothers (and Ivy Nile) formally joined the RAW brand. On the November 27 episode of RAW, the Creed Brothers won a tag team turmoil match for an Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship opportunity. They failed to defeat the Judgment Day for the titles on the December 18 episode of RAW.
