WRESTLEPALOOZA PAY-PER-VIEW EVENT PREDICTIONS

WRESTLEPALOOZA MATCH CARD
John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar. Singles match
Brock Lesnar coming back to the WWE has led to a bunch of negative fan backlash towards the WWE. It would seem like a really silly choice if Brock Lesnar were to come out on top here, especially since Lesnar has almost always beaten Cena, this is a good chance for Cena to get a significant win. This match was also announced to be kicking off the show and competing with the main event of AEW All Out, so expect a big babyface win to kick off the show.
OUR PREDICTION: John Cena
The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) vs. The Vision (Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker). Tag team match
While this match seems obvious with The Usos coming out on top in their return match, Jey Uso has been having some back and forth with LA Knight and we believe that LA Knight will accidentally cost The Usos the match keeping that rivalry going. Jey Uso recently has been showing a more heelish side to his character recently and we think that this could be a good catalyst for a proper heel turn from Jey Uso. The Vision need a win as well after not coming out on top the last few shows.
OUR PREDICTION: The Vision
CM Punk and AJ Lee vs. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. Mixed tag team match
This is arguably the biggest mixed tag team match in the history of the sport. Since it’s AJ Lee’s return match we see her winning this one. We even think she’ll pin Becky Lynch for the win setting up a future Intercontinental Championship match. This will probably main event the show as well so a big babyface win for the first show on ESPN seems like what WWE would do.
OUR PREDICTION: CM Punk and AJ Lee
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Drew McIntyre. Singles match for the Undisputed WWE Championship
This is Cody Rhodes’s first title match since SummerSlam and even though Drew deserves it, this just isn’t the time it seems. Cody Rhodes will most likely be holding the championship until WrestleMania so this match feels like one of the easier ones to predict. Expect some good false finishes, but don’t be surprised when Cody comes out on top in the end.
OUR PREDICTION: Cody Rhodes
Iyo Sky vs. Stephanie Vaquer. Singles match for the vacant Women’s World Championship
This match could be the match of the night. These are two of the most talented women on the roster right now in a match where there shouldn’t be any interference. Iyo Sky had a title reign earlier this year, so it doesn’t make too much sense for her to win. It’s Stephanie’s night and ever since she signed to the company, it’s just been the waiting game of how long it’ll take her to become world champ. This is when it happens.
OUR PREDICTION: Stephanie Vaquer
