WWE HALL OF FAMER HULK HOGAN DIES AT 71

Hulk Hogan Passes Away at Age 71
Terry Bollea, better known as Hulk Hogan, passed away on July 24, 2025 in Clearwater, Florida from a cardiac arrest.
Hulk Hogan rose to superstardom in the 1980s, becoming the face of WWE (formerly WWF) and playing a major role in bringing professional wrestling into mainstream pop culture. Known for his larger-than-life charisma, iconic catchphrase “Whatcha gonna do, brother?”, and devastating finishing move, the Leg Drop, Hogan headlined numerous WrestleMania events and was a central figure in WWE’s hugely successful Rock ‘n’ Wrestling era.
In the 1990s, Hogan transformed into Hollywood Hogan after joining WCW, where he led the infamous nWo (New World Order) faction. This bold reinvention fueled the wrestling industry’s boom period known as the Monday Night Wars.
Beyond the ring, Hogan found success in film, television, and reality shows. Despite later controversies, he was one of the most iconic wrestlers in history. Hulk Hogan is a two-time WWE Hall of Fame inductee—once as a solo legend in 2005, and again in 2020 as part of the legendary nWo.
