NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS 2025 PREDICTIONS

NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS MATCH CARD
Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes. King of the Ring tournament final
This has been one of the dream matches for Cody ever since his return to the WWE in 2022. Amazingly, we’re finally getting it, and on a B-level event such as this one, it’s a welcome surprise. However, there is a downside to this match, and that’s the predictability. We all know that Cody Rhodes is going to win this one, it doesn’t make sense for Orton and Cena to run it back, whereas we know WWE wants to right the wrongs of Cena vs Rhodes from WrestleMania. Cody Rhodes is going to be your 2025 King of the Ring and challenge John Cena at SummerSlam.
OUR PREDICTION: CODY RHODES
Asuka vs. Jade Cargill. Queen of the Ring tournament final
This one is at least a little bit more unpredictable than the King of the Ring tournament. Asuka just returned and has been booked like a killer this tournament, and her against Iyo Sky at SummerSlam would be awesome. On the other hand Jade Cargill winning means we would get Tiffany Stratton vs Jade Cargill at SummerSlam which is also pretty appealing. We’re going to go with the safe option and say Jade Cargill, however this could go either way.
OUR PREDICTION: JADE CARGILL
John Cena (c) vs. CM Punk. Singles match for the Undisputed WWE Championship
The most anticipated match of the night is CM Punk making his debut in Saudi Arabia, challenging John Cena for the WWE Championship. However it’s too early for John Cena to lose the title. We believe that Seth Rollins will come in and cost CM Punk the title, setting up a final match between the two at SummerSlam. We could see CM Punk and John Cena collide again later on in the year, but as of right now Cena is retaining.
OUR PREDICTION: JOHN CENA
Jacob Fatu (c) vs. Solo Sikoa. Singles match for the WWE United States Championship
In a match that we thought was going to take place at SummerSlam, Jacob Fatu defends his United States Championship against Solo Sikoa. Although Jacob Fatu could very easily win here, we believe that he’s going to lose to Solo before winning it back in the future. We know Hikuleo made his WWE debut on Main Event, and there’s a chance he will be slotted in with The Bloodline. What if Hikuleo shows up and helps Solo defeat Jacob Fatu? That’s what we see happening.
OUR PREDICTION: SOLO SIKOA
Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez. Street Fight
Weirdly, this match is getting a PLE spot when both Women’s Champions are not on the card, however, these two have pretty much always had good chemistry going back to their NXT days. This seems like a filler match however, and it’s apparent that Rhea Ripley is going to win. Hopefully they make Raquel look strong.
OUR PREDICTION: RHEA RIPLEY
Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross (with Scarlett). Singles match
Karrion Kross has finally made it on the PLE. There are lots of rumours that Karrion Kross’s contract will be up soon, so this performance could be make or break for him. Sami Zayn is going to win however, he’s probably the most popular superstar in Saudi Arabia, and this match is purely here to get Zayn on the card.
OUR PREDICTON: SAMI ZAYN
