Survivor Series 2024 Match Card
Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Naomi, Iyo Sky, and Bayley defeated The Judgment Day (Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez), Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae. Women’s WarGames match
WINNER: Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Naomi, Iyo Sky, and Bayley
OUR PREDICTION: Team Liv Morgan
RATING: 7/10
This match was really good, all the women got time to shine, but there were a few things that kept it from being anything amazing. Nia Jax could not hit anyone properly with a chair, felt like she was barely hitting them, or she was about to give them CTE. The big spot of the match was Iyo Sky and Tiffany Stratton both hitting moves from the top of the structure at the same time. Iyo did a Moonsault with a trash can on her head – she is insane. The only issue with this spot was it felt a little too pre-planned, especially when Tiffany waited for Iyo at the top. The match ended after Rhea Ripley hit Liv Morgan with a riptide off the side of the cage. This was a bad finish as both world champs and the Women’s MITB lost, it makes the division look like a joke. Booking aside however the match itself was good.
Shinsuke Nakamura defeated LA Knight. Singles match for the WWE United States Championship
WINNER: SHINSUKE NAKAMURA
OUR PREDICTION: LA KNIGHT
RATING: 5/10
This match was fine, honestly, we expected it to be better with the talent in the ring. The only spot standing out was when Nakamura dropped Knight on the steel in between the rings. Nakamura needed the win here, but we all thought he was going to lose let’s be honest. Surprisingly though he did, clean too. It was a good moment, but it’ll most likely end with Knight winning back his title. Decent enough match though, just not memorable.
Bron Breakker (c) defeated Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser. Triple threat match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
WINNER: BRON BREAKKER
OUR PREDICTION: BRON BREAKKER
RATING: 9/10
What a match, just fourteen minutes of fun. There were so many times here where it seemed like Sheamus was going to win, and in the end, he almost did before Kaiser pulled the referee out of the ring. Ludwig Kaiser is a future star, he’s so good in that ring. Bron Breakker was the star here however, he retained the title in a pretty dominant fashion for a Triple Threat and he pinned Kaiser for the victory. This was good because now we can get Breakker vs Sheamus again down the line. What an awesome Triple Threat, and the match of the night.
Gunther (c) defeated Damian Priest. Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship
WINNER: GUNTHER
OUR PREDICTION: GUNTHER
RATING: 4/10
This match was fine. It was nowhere near as good as their SummerSlam match, however. It felt slow, and the interference at the end made the whole storyline pointless since Gunther still didn’t beat Priest by himself. Finn Balor cost Priest the match, and after that Gunther attacked Balor. It was just a dumb booking, but Gunther is still your champion after making Priest pass out. Hopefully, Gunther can move on to something else now.
Roman Reigns, The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso), Sami Zayn, and CM Punk defeated The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa) and Bronson Reed. Men’s WarGames match
WINNER: Roman Reigns, The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso), Sami Zayn, and CM Punk
OUR PREDICTION: Roman Reigns, The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso), Sami Zayn, and CM Punk
RATING: 9/10
This was amazing. In the ring, it might not be as good as the Triple Threat from earlier, but the storytelling was amazing. The dynamic between CM Punk and Roman Reigns and them not liking each other until Heyman forced them to get along was great. Bronson Reed and Jimmy Uso got the big spots from the top of the cage, and Jey Uso and Sami Zayn won three years in a row. The match ended after everyone on the babyface team hit their finishers on Solo Sikoa and it was magical. What a great match and a great way to close out the show.
