BRON BREAKKER WINS INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE AT SUMMERSLAM

Bron Breakker has defeated Sami Zayn to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion at SummerSlam 2024. Breakker and Zayn had faced each other at Money in the Bank where Sami Zayn came out on top. Tonight’s win marks Breakker’s first title win on WWE’s main roster. Sami Zayn won the title at WrestleMania XL where he defeated Gunther.

Breakker was a two-time NXT Champion and one-time NXT Tag Team Champion while wrestling for WWE’s development brand. A second-generation professional wrestler, Rechsteiner is the son of Rick Steiner and the nephew of Scott Steiner.
