WWE ELIMINATION CHAMBER 2024 PAY-PER-VIEW REVIEW
WWE ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH CARD
Becky Lynch defeated Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Naomi, Raquel Rodriguez, and Tiffany Stratton. Elimination Chamber match for a Women’s World Championship match at WrestleMania XL
WINNER: BECKY LYNCH
OUR PREDICTION: BECKY LYNCH
RATING: 9/10
This was a really good opener for the show and the best match of the night. Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, and Liv Morgan had a great moment when they were the last three women standing, however before all of that the true star of the show was Tiffany Stratton when she had a great performance hitting a moonsault off the top of the pod. In the end however it was Becky Lynch’s night as she heads to face Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania.
The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and Damian Priest) (c) (with “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio) defeated New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate). Tag team match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship
WINNER: THE JUDGMENT DAY
OUR PREDICTION: THE JUDGMENT DAY
RATING: 8/10
This was a really fun match to continue off the momentum of the chamber match. However the result was never in doubt. After a strong start on the SmackDown brand, we all knew that Dunne and Bate wouldn’t be winning just due to how new they are to the roster as a duo. The Judgment Day are also most definitely going into WrestleMania with the titles. The match ended after a double team finisher from The Judgment Day for the win.
Drew McIntyre defeated Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, LA Knight, Logan Paul, and Randy Orton. Elimination Chamber match for a World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania XL
WINNER: DREW MCINTYRE
OUR PREDICTION: DREW MCINTYRE
RATING: 8/10
This was a good match, but definitely worse than the other chamber match earlier in the night. It also had a lot of interferences including AJ Styles attacking LA Knight, and then Logan Paul attacking Randy Orton post elimination. The match would however be a good showing for everyone involved, including Bobby Lashley despite him being eliminated first. In the end it was McIntyre and Orton before Paul hit Orton with brass knuckles allowing McIntyre to capitalize and win the chamber. Great stuff, but a notch below the women’s chamber.
Rhea Ripley (c) defeated Nia Jax. Singles match for the Women’s World Championship
WINNER: RHEA RIPLEY
OUR PREDICTION: RHEA RIPLEY
RATING: 7/10
This match was the worst of the night, however it was far from bad. This was one of Nia Jax’s best matches ever for sure. The match also had the great moment of Rhea Ripley hitting her finisher on Nia Jax in an impressive visual that WWE will put on highlight reels for years to come. However the rest of the match is just alright and isn’t anything we haven’t seen before.
