CODY RHODES SIGNS WITH WWE
It’s official! Cody Rhodes has signed with World Wrestling Entertainment. Multiple WWE sources are reporting that Rhodes signed with the company 10 – 14 days ago. The current plan is to have Rhodes debut Wrestlemania weekend with the early word among those in the company being that Rhodes will be on the RAW brand.
Rhodes, who is the son of wrestler Dusty Rhodes and half-brother of professional wrestler Dustin Rhodes, left WWE in May 2016 after he requested his release. Before signing with WWE, Cody was an amateur wrestler and became a two-time Georgia state champion. After becoming a Triple Crown Champion in OVW, Rhodes was promoted to WWE’s main roster in 2007.

During his career with WWE, Rhodes became a two-time Intercontinental Champion and was a tag team wrestler, winning six tag team championships (three World Tag Team Championships and three WWE Tag Team Championships) with four separate tag team partners.
After leaving WWE, Cody Rhodes co-founded All Elite Wrestling and he is the inaugural and record three-time AEW TNT Champion. He also served as AEW’s executive vice president.
