Royal Rumble 2022 takes place on Saturday, January 29 2022 at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
ROYAL RUMBLE 2022 MATCHES
Brock Lesnar (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. Bobby Lashley (with MVP). Singles match for the WWE Championship
This event is hard to predict. Almost every single match seems like it can go either way but we think that Roman Reigns is going to screw Brock Lesnar out of his match so he will lose the WWE Championship. This decision also goes with our prediction for the Men’s Royal Rumble match. Bobby Lashley will be the one standing tall at the end of this match.
OUR PREDICTION: BOBBY LASHLEY WINS
Becky Lynch (c) vs. Doudrop. Singles match for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship
This is the easiest match to predict. Becky Lynch is retaining the title. Doudrop deserves a push but this just isn’t the time. Becky Lynch will defeat Doudrop but the match will be a good length and well fought. Lynch is most likely going to face Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania.

Edge and Beth Phoenix vs. The Miz and Maryse. Mixed tag team match
Edge and Beth Phoenix are going to get an easy win. This is just a filler rivalry for Edge until WrestleMania where he will hopefully face A.J. Styles. This match should be good though and there is a slight chance that Miz and Maryse could win but we doubt it. The Miz should also move on to something else after this match …. maybe a feud with Damian Priest?
OUR PREDICTION: EDGE AND BETH PHOENIX WIN
Roman Reigns (c) vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins. Singles match for the WWE Universal Championship
This is the match that we’re most excited about. This match may very well be the match of the night. It is a hard match to predict because it really can go both ways but we think Roman Reigns is going to retain. Of course, Seth Rollins could definitely win so we’re a bit conflicted about who is going to be victorious.
OUR PREDICTION: ROMAN REIGNS WINS
Women’s Royal Rumble Match
There are so many possible winners for this match but the three names tossed around the most are Bianca Belair, Bayley, and Ronda Rousey. We think Bianca Belair will win the Royal Rumble match and make it two years in a row. The final four in this rumble match will be Charlotte Flair, Lita, Bayley and Bianca Belair. Bianca Belair will last eliminate Bayley for her second Royal Rumble victory.
OUR PREDICTION: BIANCA BELAIR
Men’s Royal Rumble Match
This is a harder match to predict. Big E will win and will be in the final four with Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles and Bron Breakker. Brock Lesnar will eliminate A.J. Styles and Bron Breakker before he is finally thrown out by Big E. This will set up Big E vs Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 38 for the WWE Championship.
