Macey Estrella-Kadlec is a 30-year-old American professional wrestler signed to the WWE. She performs on the RAW brand under the ring name, Lacey Evans.

In 2009, at the age of 19, Estrella-Kadlec enlisted in the military and served for five years. While there, she earned a bachelor’s degree and started a construction business while on active duty. While in the Marines, she was introduced to professional wrestling through a staff sergeant who promoted independent shows on the side.

In 2014, Estrella-Kadlec started training to become a professional wrestler at the American Premier Wrestling training facility in Georgia. She made her debut for the promotion that year and later won the company’s World Heavyweight Championship. Until 2016, she wrestled on the independent scene.

Lacey Evans’ WWE Contract

In April 2016, Estrella-Kadlec signed a contract with the WWE and made her wrestling debut at a NXT house show battle royal that was won by Ember Moon. She made her televised debut a few months later on NXT with Sarah Bridges in a losing match against Peyton Royce and Billie Kay. In 2017, she was assigned the ring name, Lacy Evans and was used mostly as a jobber to various competitors.

Lacy Evans competed in the 2017 Mae Young Classic tournament but lost in the second round to Toni Storm. Throughout 2017 and then 2018, she was victorious against multiple competitors including Dakota Kai and Candice LeRae.

Evans’ Main Roster Debut

Evans was on NXT until 2019 when she was brought up to the main roster alongside EC3, Otis, Tucker, Nikki Cross, and Lars Sullivan. She made her main roster debut as entrant number one in the 2019 Women’s Royal Rumble and lasted over 29 minutes eliminating Billie Kay, Peyton Royce before being eliminated herself by Charlotte Flair.

In May 2019 Lacey Evans had her biggest feud yet against the RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch but failed to win the championship. In the WWE 2019 draft, Evans was assigned to SmackDown and feuded with Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship but was unsuccessful in her pursuit of the championship.

Lacey Evans was drafted to RAW at the October 2020 WWE Draft.

Lacey Evans’ New Storyline, Pregnancy

On January 4th, 2021, Lacey Evans started a storyline with Ric Flair when, during a match against Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and Asuka, Evans flirted with Flair.

During the following weeks, Flair managed Evans which was meant to distract his daughter, Charlotte. On February 15, Evans’ real-life pregnancy was announced and incorporated into a storyline on that night’s episode of RAW, in which Flair is implied to be the father. Evans was scheduled to face Asuka for Raw Women’s Championship at Elimination Chamber but the match was cancelled due to her pregnancy and the storyline with Flair was cancelled. It’s rumored that Evans was supposed to win the title at Elimination Chamber.
