BLAIR DAVENPORT

Beatrice St. Clere Priestley is a 26-year-old professional wrestler from England. She is currently signed with WWE and performs on the company’s NXT brand under the ring name, Blair Davenport.

Priestley’s Early Wrestling Career

Priestly began training at New Zealand Wide Pro Wrestling’s developmental facility. She made her in-ring debut for the company when she was only 16 years old and used the ring name, Amy St. Clere. For the next four years, she also wrestled for Impact Pro Wrestling as Beatrice Priestley and for the Hughes Academy as Tammy Leigh. Priestley then moved to London England to further her career and trained in Progress Wrestling’s developmental program, ‘The Projo.’

On March 13 2016, she made her debut for Progress Wrestling and was defeated by Elizabeth. In December that year, Priestley participated in the tournament to crown the first ever Progress Women’s Champion. She lost to the eventual winner, Toni Storm. Throughout 2017 and 2018, Priestley competed in six-man tag team matches and even feuded with Millie McKenzie.

From 2017 to 2021, Bea Priestley wrestled for various promotions including What Culture Pro Wrestling / Defiant Wrestling, World Wonder Ring Stardom, World of Sport, All Elite Wrestling, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling. She won the WCPW/Defiant Women’s Championship twice and also won the World of Sport Wrestling Champion one tie.

Priestley Signs With WWE

In June 2021, it was reported that Bea Priestley signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). A vignette aired promoting her arrival to NXT UK and revealed her ring name would be Blair Davenport. She then went on to win several matches against competitors including Xia Brookside, Nina Samuels, and Emilia McKenzie.

Blair Davenport then had the opportunity to challenge Meiko Satomura for the NXT UK Women’s Championship. On the January 6th 2022 episode of NXT UK, Davenport wrestled Satomura but was unsuccessful in capturing the title. This marked her first loss in NXT UK.
