BO DALLAS

Taylor Michael Rotunda is a 30-year-old professional wrestler from Brooksville, Florida. He wrestles for the WWE on SmackDown under the ring name, Bo Dallas.

Rotunda is a third generation wrestler. His grandfather is Blackjack Mulligan (a WWE Hall of Fame member), his father is Mike Rotunda (I.R.S.) and uncles Barry (also in the WWE Hall of Fame) and Kendall Windham were all professional wrestlers. His brother, Windham Rotunda, is also a professional wrestler, better known as Bray Wyatt or “The Fiend.”

Rotunda began wrestling in high school when he qualified for the state championships. He also played football in high school.

WWE Contract

In 2008, he signed a developmental contract with the WWE and was assigned to the company’s developmental territory, Florida Championships Wrestling (FCW). He made his in-ring debut in November ’08 defeating Kaleb O’Neal.

After his debut, Rotunda began fighting in tag team matches, changing his ring name multiple times. In July 2009, wrestling as Bo Rotundo, he teamed with his brother Duke Rotundo (Bray Wyatt) and defeated The Dude Busters to become the number one contenders for the FCW Florida Tag Team Championships. Later that night, the Rotundo brothers defeated Justin Angel and Kris Logan for the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship. They successfully defeated their titles until November 19 when they lost the championship to The Dude Busters.

Due to an ankle injury, Rotunda was out of action but returned in June and began to wrestle in singles competition. In February 2011,  Rotundo defeated Mason Ryan to win the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship for the first time but lost it immediately afterward to Lucky Cannon. He regained the title months three months later but vacated the title September 1 due to injury. He returned to FCW television in January 2012 and with his brother they defeated Brad Maddox and Eli Cottonwood to win the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship for the second time. They held the titles until March 15. Rotunda won the  FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship a third time in June that year.

NXT Debut

In 2012, WWE re-branded FCW to become NXT and Rotunda made his NXT debut with the new ring name, Bo Dallas. In 2013, he won the NXT Championship becoming the third NXT Champion after defeating Big E for the title.

At the 2013 Royal Rumble, Rotunda was a surprise entrant for the Royal Rumble match after winning a tournament for the spot on NXT. He lasted an impressive 20 minutes in the Royal Rumble and was given the opportunity to wrestle in a few matches on the main roster before returning to NXT.

Rotunda made his official main roster debut on the May 7, 2014 episode of Monday Night RAW where he defeated Sin Cara. Bo Dallas began a winning streak after this and then made his first appearance at a pay-per-view event at PayBack where he was scheduled to fight Kofi Kingston. Due to Kane’s interference, that match never happened. The following night on RAW, Dallas faced Kingston and defeated him. He continued his streak gaining victories over Santino Marella, Xavier Woods, R-Truth, Fandango and Titus O’Neil.

The B-Team

In 2017, Bo Dallas teamed with Axel to become the “B-Team” and they defeated Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango), their first win as a team since August 2017. They then won a tag team battle royal to determine the number one contenders for the RAW Tag Team Championships. At Extreme Rules, the B-Team defeated Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy to win the RAW Tag Team Championship. They successfully defended their titles until September when they lost the championships to Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre, ending their reign at 50 days.

Since then, Bo Dallas has competed at WrestleMania 35 in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal but failed to win the match. As part of the Superstar Shake-up in 2019, Dallas and Axel were moved to SmackDown. Shortly after, Bo Dallas beat Drake Maverick to win the 24/7 Championship but lost it a few minutes.

In April 2020, the B-Team broke up as Axel was released from his contract by the WWE.
