JASON JORDAN

Nathan Everhart is a 32-year-old wrestler from Tinley Park, Illinois, United States. He is currently signed to the WWE and performs on the RAW brand under the ring name, Jason Jordan.

In 2010, Everhart was offered a contract with WWE while he was attending college. He started his professional wrestling career a year later when he was sent WWE’s developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW).

In November 2011, he made his FCW televised debut in a match alongside Colin Cassidy and Mike Dalton in a losing effort to the Ascension. Everhart won the FCW Tag Team Championships alongside CJ Parker.

Everhart made his NXT debut in June 2012 in a losing match against Jinder Mahal. In April 2014, he formed a tag team with Tye Dillinger but the duo disbanded in February 2015 after having little success.

In 2015, Jason Jordan and Chad Gable formed the tag team known as American Alpha and defeated The Revival for the NXT Tag Team Championships at NXT TakeOver: Dallas in April 2016. American Alpha held the titles for 68 days and lost the titles at NXT TakeOver: The End in June to The Authors of Pain.

In July 2016, both Jason Jordan and Chad Gable were drafted to SmackDown and made their main roster debut the following month on an episode of SmackDown defeating The Vaudevillains. Several months later, American Alpha defeated the Wyatt family in a  four-corner elimination match to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship titles. Their reign ended 84 days when they lost the titles to The Usos.

Jason Jordan made his WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania 33 participating in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Shortly after, American Alpha disbanded as Chad Gable pursued a singles career.

In July 2017, Kurt Angle announced on RAW that Jason Jordan was his ‘son.’ Jordan became a singles competitor and began feuding with The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship but failed to capture the title.

In December 2017, Jordan teamed with Seth Rollins and defeated Cesaro and Sheamus for the RAW Tag Team Championships. With that win, Jordan became the first person in WWE to hold the RAW, SmackDown and NXT Tag Team Championships. Their tag team title reign lasted for 34 days and were defeated by Cesaro and Sheamus at the Royal Rumble in 2018.

In February 2018, Jordan had his last televised appearance as he underwent a successful surgery to repair a neck injury. Jason Jordan has been out of action since then but it is reportedly assisting in producing WWE television.
